The hour of code is a great way to make students think in different ways in games, information, and questions. The games were fun and easy. They have different games and different ways to complete them.

What I learned this week
I learned this week how to make a flyer. We partnered up and worked together to make a great flyer based on selling an ice cream shop, That taught me how to put many different designs and colors on it. When we finished that we made our own flyer then we switched seats and graded each others work. It was easy and fun. Would like to do it again.

Futures & Options
I learned that by partnering with New York's business community, Futures and Options are available to youth to build professional careers. They also provide businesses with a trained educated, and diverse young workforce. they have three key programs, Career Essentials: Career Essentials provides career readiness training to students who have not yet reached the skill level - or age - to be placed in internship positions. The Internship Program: Through our acclaimed Internship Program, students gain vital hands-on experience to prepare for the workforce. The College Guidance Initiative: Futures and Options works with students in both their junior and senior years of high school to prepare them for the college application and selection process.

Netiquette
Netiquette is the rules of proper mannerism when communicating through internet sites, such as facebook, chat rooms and emails. Good netiquette is important because it can keep us from making improper decisions of what we can or should post. It also helps to keep us aware that our own private pictures and conversations can sometimes be used against us. Others can hack our accounts and take what we thought was private and make it public. Many people have lost their jobs, family, friends and even money over lack of netiquette. In today's society, many teenagers and even young adults have disregarded netiquette for the sake of being popular or well known. Sadly, in doing so, they have put their reputations and sometimes even their lives at risk.

Digital Footprint
A Digital Footprint is another word for trail or traces that people leave online, uploading videos, pictures or any other information. Doing that can leave traces of personal information available to others online. Some ways I can improve my digital footprint, creating more blogs, talking about more educational progresses I've made. It matters who you associate with online because some people don't care about there education and certain people do, and those that don't can affect you by the statuses, photos, videos they put online. That can affect you because they can tag you in those things and it can be seen your profile.

Academic Integrity and Plagarism
What I learned from the video Academic Integrity and Plagarism is that you can create your own business, or create your own invention and get promoted. You can be successful in that and make money.

Define Blog
I think the definition of a blog is a post with someones opinion on it, or anything they wanted to write about, maybe something that is happening in their life, or they want to share a story about their life. It could be like a diary or a journal that you share with other people. It can have many different topics like business, school, or education. If u want to create a blog you should try it, it can be a lot of writing but it can also be fun, just try your best.
I was looking through other blogs and found these of interest,
